As soon as the Alexa skill is activated, a unique ID is generated and assigned to the calling Alexa instance.

In the following, the user is asked to log into the Philips Hue customer account and to comply with the authorization requirement. If the customer has several accounts, all customer accounts can be linked in this step.

With every authorization, access keys (access tokens and refresh tokens) and the corresponding BridgeID will be assigned to the initially generated ID and stored within the skill configuration data.

After the user clicks on "Back to Alexa", the ID generated at the beginning will be used in Amazons process workflow to control the Alexa functionalities.

While using the Alexa Skill, SmartHome device data is retrieved, automatically processed and discarded afterwards. The skill will be able to bring out changes to the users device. Every action will initiated by the user or rules configured by the user.

At no point in the process personal data is recorded, determined or stored.

All data including the Master ID will be deleted after 30 days of non-use.
